Why we say we’re a Band of Rebels: Well, for us, it’s not about acting tough or being self-righteous. For us, it’s about being free thinkers. But free thinkers are dangerous. Free thinkers don’t fit neatly into society. They’re like these beings from another planet, in a sense. Aliens. Some people are suspicious of them. Fearful of them. Society feels threatened by them.
We embrace the idea of being defiant, of being unruly. We have fun with it…We believe that if we’re having fun in whatever we’re doing, then it’s worth it. It’s Detroit Bohemian.
